The current director of tennis at Malibu Racquet Club, TREY WALTKE has lead an expansive life in tennis. As a Pro, he was constantly within the top 50 and posted wins over McEnroe and Connors in the same year. He partied with Vitas Gerulaitis. And, famously, in 1983, he beat Stan Smith at Wimbledon wearing a white linen suit. This was 60 years after it was fashionable.

After retiring from the tour, he helped establish Reebok into an international tennis brand. And currently he runs the preeminent tennis club in Malibu, Malibu Racquet.

Our friend, TREY WALTKE offers insight into what you have to do to win as a short guy on the tour. He tells us what it’s like to hit Studio 54 with Vitas. And he reveals Larry Ellison’s grand plans for Malibu Racquet.
