Australian tennis legend, Mark Woodforde was a force to be reckoned with in singles… and an absolute legend in doubles.
In singles, Woodforde got to #19 in the world. He was a semi-finalist at The Australian Open. And he beat McEnroe, Chang and Ivanisovic. To name a few.
In doubles, he was #1 in the world, winning 12 majors; his first with John McEnroe and the rest with longtime partner – and other half of “The Woodies” – Todd Woodbridge.
Gold Medalist. Davis Cup Winner. Hall-of-Famer, MARK WOODFORDE explains why John McEnroe was the real genius behind the formation of “The Woodies.“ He shares his thoughts on the wide and dynamic field of current Australians players. And he also explains why his doubles partner through 61 titles is no longer speaking with him.
