In 2018 Jared Donaldson was 21 years old and in the top 50. Then injury struck. Now, after a successful surgery and a year on the DL, he’s about to come back.
Jared has posted wins over Tsitsipas, Goffin, Raonic and Bautista Agut and he’s been across the net from nearly every man on the tour.
As a kid, Jared moved from Rhode Island to Argentina in order to improve his game on the red clay. While there, he practiced with top players like Diego Schwartzman and Guido Pella.
After a solid junior career, Jared was the only American to be part of the first Next Gen group that included Coric, Shapovalov, Khachenov and Medvedev.
Rhode Island’s Finest JARED DONALDSON tells the story of how he went from losing the finals of Kalamazoo all the way to the third round of the US Open main draw. He also offers a candid assessment of the up and coming men on the tour. And he offers a unique inside look into how players deal with injury on the tour.
